Faithful in your process

I’ve gone through many things in my life that I can honestly say have taught me how to stay faithful to God despite what I was going through. Just recently, I went through a very tough situation where I was hurt deeply. I felt as though I was alone even though I had my husband and my family by my side. I felt as if the Lord did not want to bless me the same way He was willing to bless others. At the moment, I wont lie to you, I felt a little angry at God because I felt as though He was taking away my blessing, but as I made my way home that night, I remember the words He had spoken to me just a couple months prior,
I know all your dreams and desires, all you have to do is seek me.

After remembering those words, I was able to snap out of my  and remember that my time is not God’s time, and my will is not God’s will. A couple days ago, I posted on Facebook, “God’s timing is always the best timing. Sometimes you have to wait a little longer than you expected but when your blessing finally comes, you wont regret the day or the time it came. Wait on God.” I truly meant those words.
God will take you through a process that will hurt and make you wonder what He is up to in your life. But remember, when God created you, He created you with a purpose and if what you desire does not line up with God’s timeline for your life, it will not happen when you want it to happen. I don’t say this to discourage you, I say it because I want you all to realize that God has perfect plans for you, for me, for us. But those perfect plans come with a process we all have to go through.
On Sunday while writing this post, two verses came to my heart that I would like to share with you…
“Life is hard, but there is a time and place for everything” – Ecclesiastes 8:6
“For I know the plans I have for you” declares the Lord, “plans to prosper you and not harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.” – Jeremiah 29:1
You see, God specifically says in His word that there is a time and place for your blessing. Don’t be discouraged if you don’t receive it in the form that you want or the time that you want because God is going to give you something greater.
The important thing for you (for us to do) is stay faithful to God while He works on our behalf. Stay faithful to Him in your process!
