Since having baby #3, I’ve been more determined than ever to reach my weightloss goals as well as live a healthier lifestyle in general. Besides taking my amazing supplements, I’ve also been trying to change my entire families eating habits and get everyone active. But one thing I’ve been dying to try is green smoothies.

Now let me tell you, I don’t like to drink anything green lol. But I’ve been very interested in trying out a spinach smoothie because I actually like it and it has so many benefits! I had some ripe bananas sitting on the counter that I just knew we were not going to eat because 90% of the time, bananas in the Cano residence get ripe and then go in the trash so I used them. We literally, almost 90% of the time leave bananas sitting on the counter til we can’t eat them anymore. Please don’t ask me why lol.

The smoothie came out super D E L I C I O U S. I mean, it was amazing!!! It so simple and easy to make and I know you will enjoy. Heck! Even your kids will enjoy it.


2 bananas 
3 handfuls of spinach
8 ounces of water
2 tablespoons of almond butter

Pour in 8 ounces of water into your blender. Then add the bananas, spinach and the almond butter and then blend. After your smoothie is done, you can top it with some chia seeds for some extra benefits.

  • Helps improve vision
  • Strengthens the immune system
  • It’s anti-inflammatory 
  • Strengthens bones
If all green smoothies taste this good, I think we just became a smoothie family! I can’t wait to experiment with a new recipe soon.
